Professional Overview

 

Bhavesh completed medical school at the University of Alberta and became a general practitioner in Alberta before completing an internal medicine residency at Mayo Clinic and critical care fellowship at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. He practices critical care medicine at Mayo Clinic Arizona and is an Assistant Professor of Medicine, Anesthesiology and Neurology at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. He also serves as the Director of Education for the Department of Critical Care and Medical Director of the Department of Respiratory Care.

 

He has been involved with global health relief efforts in Haiti, Kenya, Bangladesh, Nepal and Fiji.

Bhavesh believes that sharing our talents and gifts is a way of being.  He has had many opportunities throughout his life to share his knowledge and skills with those less fortunate.  He has a caring and giving heart and continually strives to improve other people's lives through his own service and sacrifice.

 

Bhavesh's hero is his mother and a beaming smile inspires him.  He grew up playing bridge and enjoys doing flips on the trampoline.  In his spare time he also enjoys hiking, soccer, studying astronomy and practicing staying in the moment.
